As a DJ since 2000 and mostly performing at clubs and raves in the Toronto area, Slipstream was known primarily for spinning Trance with a later venture into Breaks in 2005. He has played at the most well known venues in Toronto, some of the biggest outdoor festivals in Ontario, and even some international events. He also performed regularly on DDance.FM radio station in Belgium.
Slipstream began producing his own tunes in 2006 and peaked out around 2008 when he composed enough tracks to record his own CD entitled “Digital Ecstasy”. Slipstream signed a few of his tracks to the DDance.FM record label and began selling some of his big hit tunes, such as ‘Tragic Logic’, online.
His primary musical influences have been Robert Miles, BT, & Tiesto. Other influences have been Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, John O’Callaghan, John Askew, Bryan Kearney, Gareth Emery, and Ben Gold. In the breakbeat world, he is heavily influenced by the work of DJ Icey, Plump DJs, Dylan Rhymes, Elite Force, Meat Katie, Quadrat Beat, Aggresivnes and Destroyers.
